 NEVER EVER leave your Coat in your Car!!! Never leave your coat in your car or trunk for any amount of time on a hot day, especially if it is wet. You will bake it, it will shrink and go out of shape, and there's nothing you can do. We don't warranty any items left in the car that have shrunken, dried, or lost their shape. How to Care for your Coat Care of Oiled Coats Use it, abuse it, wear it in the rain, that's what it's for. Rough n' rugged. Don't ever wash your coat with soap, as you will take out the unique waterproof oil. To clean, simply hose your coat down in the driveway with the garden hose, scrub down with a soft bristle brush and hang up to dry (air dry).
