I wish to take this opportunity to tell you how happy and satisfied I am with my purchase of the Aussie Ranger Coat from Walkabout. My first introduction to your product line was at the Fred Hall Fishing Show held each spring in Long Beach, California. Unfortunately, at this year's show you did not have a Ranger coat in stock. I visited your website and saw the coat there but that is different than seeing and feeling the product first hand. I decided to purchase the coat sight unseen and take my chances that I would like it. To be truthfull, I am always skeptical about buying items off the web or from a catalog. I am more comfortable when I know what
I am purchasing.
To make a long story short, I ordered the coat. I received the coat (and the special offer gloves) exactly four days after placement of the order. Immediately upon unwrapping the garment, I was greatly impressed with the high quality of the material and workmanship. The coat was worth every penny! I very much like the natural oiled cotton and leather collar, not to mention the useful pockets and sturdy high quality zipper. I admire the long history of the Drizabone coats. I could easily see that history and workmanship in this coat. I have no doubt
that after many years I could pass this coat onto my son and he would gladly wear it. I cannot say the same thing for my Gore-tex parka, although both coats keep the rain out.
One week after receiving the coat, I took it with me to Boston where it was 35 degrees Farenheit and raining. The coat kept me "drizabone"! Thanks guys for a great product and your friendly and efficient customer service.
