The Walkabout Company clothes American farmers!
The South African clothing and hat connection has entered the North American farming community with farming attire with an Aussie-African flair to it. The Walkabout Company introduced a range of comfortable, durable outdoor clothing and attire worn by many of South Africa's and Australia’s top farmers.
I have been amazed over the years to see so many happy Walkabout Hats enjoying their Walkabout across this great land with their owners! 23 years later and still going strong. It has always been about the Journey, not the destination.
Dad ( BBC World Cameraman of the Year, 1967 ) learned to develop his film and pictures under his bed, its the only darkroom he could use at the orphanage . I was lucky with full access to some of the best darkrooms in the country, whats a darkroom you say ?
I like to know where my food comes from. Mom made me do it, well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I remember when I was knocked out, flat on the floor, for defending a sandwich mom made me for lunch once.
By then I could see all the fishermen (boats) were either leaving, or watching me like I was some kind of fool. Some kind of crazy person, waders, fly rod and all. I rose slowly and made one cast some 30 feet out where the water flow eased, and well the rest is history.
